1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using KetoLife ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the developers of KetoLife ("we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

KetoLife is a keto diet companion app that provides:

• Meal and macro logging with net carb tracking

• AI-powered dietary check-ins (text, voice, and image)

• Ketosis state estimation and tracking

• Personalised AI chat guidance powered by Google Gemini

• Progress tracking, challenges, and goal streaks

• Onboarding-based dietary profiling and plan generation

KetoLife is intended for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device, and nothing in the App constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Union) to use KetoLife. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Health Disclaimer

Please read this section carefully.

• KetoLife provides general nutritional estimates and keto-related guidance for informational purposes only.

• The App’s ketosis status estimates, carb calculations, and AI-generated recommendations are approximations based on the information you provide. Individual metabolic responses vary significantly.

• Do not use KetoLife to manage, diagnose, or treat any medical condition, including but not limited to diabetes, kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, or eating disorders.

• Always consult a qualified physician, registered dietitian, or other licensed healthcare provider before starting a ketogenic diet or making significant changes to your nutrition.

• In a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on this App.

We are not liable for any health outcomes, injuries, or adverse effects resulting from dietary choices made based on information provided by KetoLife.

5. Account & Data

KetoLife does not require account registration. Your data (check-ins, food logs, profile) is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device.

• The accuracy of information you enter into the App.

• Any consequences resulting from sharing your device with others.

If you delete the App or clear app data, your locally stored information will be permanently lost. We are not responsible for data loss.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

6.1 Subscription Plans

KetoLife offers paid subscription plans that unlock full access to the App’s features:

• Weekly — billed weekly, auto-renewing

• Yearly — billed annually, auto-renewing

Prices are displayed in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

6.2 Billing & Renewal

• Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time.

6.3 No Free Trial

KetoLife does not currently offer a free trial period. All subscriptions require payment at the time of purchase.

6.4 Refunds

All purchases are subject to Apple’s refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

6.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes before they apply to your renewal.

7. AI Features

7.1 Nature of AI Responses

The Keto AI chat and check-in summaries are generated by Google Gemini, a third-party AI model. AI-generated content:

• May contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors.

• Is not reviewed by human nutritionists or medical professionals before delivery.

• Should not be treated as professional dietary or medical advice.

• May vary between sessions even for identical inputs.

7.2 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy of AI-generated content and any dietary decisions you make based on it.

7.3 Prohibited Use of AI Features

You must not use the AI chat to:

• Seek advice on managing active medical conditions without a healthcare provider.

• Attempt to extract harmful, offensive, or medically dangerous content.

• Circumvent, probe, or exploit the AI system in any way.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.

• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality or third-party services it depends on.

• Use the App to generate, store, or transmit harmful, abusive, or offensive content.

• Misrepresent your identity or provide false health information with intent to deceive.

9. Intellectual Property

All content within KetoLife — including but not limited to the interface design, graphics, text, AI prompts, and logic — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.

We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

• ANY KETOSIS ESTIMATES OR NUTRITIONAL CALCULATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE.

• AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC SITUATION.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data or app content.

• Health outcomes resulting from use of the App.

• Decisions made based on AI-generated guidance.

• Interruption or cessation of the App’s services.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KetoLife and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App.

• Your violation of these Terms.

• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

• Dietary decisions you make based on App content.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to KetoLife at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time. Cancelling your subscription does not delete your locally stored data; uninstalling the App does.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of KetoLife after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
