Games: Each cheerleader will be expected to cheer ALL, both home and away games, of the football and basketball season games, including any game that is rescheduled, for their respective squad (ex: 8th grade cheers for 8th grade games only) You may be involved in other sports or activities, but keep in mind that cheerleading is a priority and you may not miss frequently (absences must be excused).

Mandatory practices through the summer
Mandatory practices through both sports’ seasons
Cheer camps
School pep rallies
Cheer competitions
Cheerleaders’ grades are monitored.
Each student must pass a physical exam and may not practice or participate on game day until the doctor has signed the needed paperwork.
Cheerleaders and parents must sign the athletic department substance abuse policy
Cheerleaders and parents must sign the CVMS Cheerleader Contract and Agreement
