Summer fees are the same as storm and in-service days; $30/day. We accept subsidy through the NS government (application must be made through them) and the new government fee reduction amounts will be credited as applicable. 

Invoices are sent out on the 20th of each month and payment is due by the 10th.
Example: July invoices will be sent June 20th and payment is due July 10th. 

Vacation Time

Fees are required to be paid by parents whether children are in attendance or not. If you are planning a vacation, please let us know in advance so we can mark your child absent. 

 In the event that another family may be looking for care, and we can fill your space while you are gone, we may be able to credit back filled days, although not guaranteed to be able to happen. This would reflect on your next invoice. 

Activities & more

We venture out and do many activities over the summer. Some of our favorite spaces to go to is the memorial park in Kentville, Miner's Marsh, Oakdene Park playground and many more. We try to go to the Kentville pool a couple times over the summer and also play at the splash pad. We have lots of fun things in the planning for Summer 2022.

 We spend a lot of time playing outside, with breaks inside in the afternoon from the sun and heat. Some days we will be bringing our lunches with us for a picnic lunch, we will let you know a day ahead of time to ensure your child's packed lunch does not need to be het up.

We provide sunscreen and bug spray, this is a $5 fee on your invoice each month. The brands are listed in our parent handbook if interested.
