70th Pacific Northwest District Convention (March 8th - March 10th 2019)
Kentridge Key Clubbers attended the 70th annual PNW District Convention (DCON) in Seattle, Washington. This wonderful experience provided us with the tools to build and refine our leadership skills. At DCON, we attended workshops, received officer training, and showed off our Division 32 pride by participating in spirit battles. In addition, we watched the immediate past District Board members retire and the next District board be installed. We are proud to announce that our very own Division 32 LTG Justin Englund will be serving as our new District Governor! Also, a huge congratulations to Cynthia Mak for winning the Outstanding Secretary Award, and to Kristy Nhan for winning the Outstanding Vice President Award! Make sure to apply for DCON next year if you want to participate in this great opportunity!
April DCM at Kentridge (April 17)

69th Pacific Northwest District Convention (March 16-18, 2018)
Kentridge Key Clubbers reached their Destination: Service when they attended the 69th annual PNW district convention in Portland, Oregon. It was truly a life changing experience for everyone. We attended workshops to learn more about our positions, leadership, our preferred charities, district project, Kiwanis family relations, and other workshops pertaining to Key Club and how to make our clubs successful. We showed off our D32 spirit throughout opening ceremony and throughout the weekend. It's amazing to celebrate a year of service with others all around the district. We watched the next District Board members get installed and saw the old board retire. We also won the traditional Scrapbook award! If you want to experience this wonderful event, make sure to apply next year, it'll be on March 8th-10th in Seattle!
Division 32 LTG Election Rally (January 6th)
For this year's Ltg. Election, the 8 schools of Division 32 gathered at Fairwood Library to elect our next lieutenant governor. There were 3 candidates: Justin Englund (KW), Cynthia Mak (KR), and Erin Mannschreck (KR). We were so proud of Cynthia and Erin who demonstrated their passion for Key Club through their outstanding speeches and vision for our division. Every candidate was phenomenal and we would like to congratulate and welcome Justin Englund as the next Lieutenant Governor of Divsion 32 for 2018-2019. We know he's going to make it a TOASTY year!
Spread the Spirit (December 5th- 13th)
Spread the Spirit is a drive hosted by Kentridge Key Club every year that gives gifts to Kentridge families in need. The holiday season is all about giving and Kentridge Key Club joined in on this sentiment through this drive. A present can give so much joy to the receiver but we understand that not every family can afford to buy gifts, so we worked hard to make a difference in our community. Our members brought in gifts and helped wrapped them before they were sent to the families in need. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed and brought in gifts! Our efforts allowed us to provide gifts to nine families!
Dance to Cure: Seattle Area 2017 (December 9)
The second annual Dance to Cure was hosted by the Seattle Area Lieutenant Governors. Though we had to go all the way to the Kirkland Community Center, it was totally worth it! We danced the night away, learned some cool moves, met many other key clubbers, and our very own Irene Rodriguez won the raffle to have a special dance with our Ltg. Tera! The best part was that we got to spend an evening supporting the fight against cancer as all the proceeds from this dance go to KCCP.
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF (October 31)
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF in partnership with Kiwanis International is a fundraiser that raises money for the Eliminate Project. The goal of the Eliminate Project is to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus worldwide. Just $1.80 can provide a mother with a lifesaving vaccination that also protects her future babies! For this fundraiser, Kentridge Key Club raised funds throughout the month of October and had a Halloween bonding where we all dressed up in costumes and went trick-or-treating for spare change (instead of candy) to support this cause.
Kiwanis One Day (October 28)
Kiwanis One Day is a day of united service between the k-family branches. Kentridge Key Club, Kentwood Key Club, and the Meridian-Kent Kiwanis Club joined together for Kiwanis One Day by taking part in Green Kent Day; we planted trees and spread mulch at the Puget Power Trail. Together as one K-Family, the impact we had on our community was definitely amplified. Kentridge Key Club is so thankful for all the support and involvement we get from our Kiwanis Club and we hope to grow even stronger bonds!
Seattle Area Rally 2017 (July 22)
Over 200 key clubbers from the Seattle Area joined together to celebrate service! This year's theme was: Sun, Sand, and Service. Like a mini-DCON, this day-long event consisted of workshops (ranging from officer training to ribbon-lei making to Public Speaking 101 to KPOP dancing and much more) and a bunch of spirit battles. During this event there was a Miracle Minute for KCCP and at the end, Divison 32 was even awarded the Spirit Stick for being the most spirited! We hope to see you there next year!

Members receive either the Bronze (20+ hours), Silver (40+ hours), Gold (60+ hours), or Platinum (100+ hours) Award. Thank you guys for all your service this year! It is truly event that you guys are "Proud N' Willing to Serve!" (PNW District motto)
DCON 2017 (March 31- April 2)
Thousands of PNW Key Clubbers gathered to celebrate the 2016-2017 Key Club service year in Portland, OR. We made friends with many other Key Clubbers, took part in spirit battles, heard an inspiring key note lecture by Tom Krieglstein, was entertained by Chris James, learned leadership and different skills at the workshops, elected the next District Board Officers, and so much more! Also, our very own Ammara Touch won a $1,000 scholarship and was awarded the Club President Award. Congratulations! It was truly a life-changing and unforgettable experience. Will you be joining us next year?
Walk for KCCP (June 23)
Kentridge Key Club hosted its first Annual Walk for KCCP. For this event, key clubbers collected donations for KCCP and we were able to raise $313.57! During this event, key clubbers walked around the track to symbolize a cancer patient's tough, unending battle with cancer. There was also upbeat music and some icebreakers to keep us all energized. Thank you to Austin and Saeed from Kentwood Key Club and Elijah from Kent-Meridian Key Club for attending as well!
