Daniel has won the Outstanding Award in the MSE undergraduated poster competition, while Chelsea earned an Honorable Mention. Jay also enthusiastically participated in the event.
Kudos to all the students for their hard work throughout the year. Wishing everyone smooth and successful career paths ahead!
We had the honor of inviting a national-level coach from Malaysia, also known as Prof. Keng, to guide our lab's tennis training
The photographer's camera was stolen, forcing him to step in front of the lens.
Bill, with his exceptional talent, is recognized as a four-sport prodigy in our lab, excelling in Go, tennis, softball, and basketball.
This study presents structurally robust cobalt pyroborate as a heterogeneous catalyst for advanced oxidation processes (AOPs). The Co₂B₂O₅/PMS system demonstrates superior efficiency in degrading persistent organic pollutants, surpassing traditional CoO and Co₃O₄ catalysts, making it a promising solution for industrial wastewater treatment.

This manuscript presents a comprehensive investigation into the development of boron-rich poly(ethyleneglycol)-block-(poly(4-vinylphenyl boronate ester)) (mPEG-b-PBE36) polymer micelles via Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization (ATRP) for their potential application in Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) for cancer treatment.
We are thrilled to announce the publication of groundbreaking research on the combination of Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) and immune checkpoint blockade, marking the first in vivo study in this area. The study reveals significant advancements, including a notable boost in T-cell tumor infiltration when these therapies are combined. Utilizing polyboronate micelles, the research achieved a remarkable 13-fold increase in intracellular boron uptake and an 8-fold enhancement in tumor boron uptake compared to BPA. This innovative approach significantly enhances the efficacy of BNCT, promising new avenues for more effective and targeted cancer treatments.
