Building and Sustaining Student-Centered Learning
The professional development will immerse teachers into small group and collaborative instructional experiences. Teachers will explore strategies for creating and managing differentiated learning. Additionally, they will analyze upcoming units and establish goals for differentiated instruction. These goals will be supported when Ken comes in for a day of embedded coaching in September.

11:00 AM Station Experience: Management, 5 senses, and protocols.
11:45 AM Team Collaboration: Setting up your ice-cream shop.
12:55 PM Reflection and closing.
1:00 PM NLSD BBQ event.
No supplies needed, be prepare for authentic, honest conversation.
Create a sketch map of what small group learning will look, sound, feel, smell, and taste like in your classroom. As you map it out, consider both the perspective of the teacher, students, and an outside observer visiting your classroom.
You are welcome to design in Google Slides, Google Draw, another computer program, or use paper and markers. There is large poster board available as well as small pieces of paper.
When you insert items into Google Forms, in addtion to new questison you can also choose the video thumbnail option. This will allow you to add from your Drive or a basic internet search.
I will share more items after the embedded coaching day to see exactly what you are looking for.
It is a completely free process. The easiest platform to do it all is anchor.fm. Once you create a free account you can record directly in the platform. Additionly, it allows for an .mp3 file upload or you can record directly on the website. To finish the process, it publishes the podcast to all podcast platforms with one button.
