Building and Sustaining Student-Centered Learning
This professional development will serve as a continuation of the work we’ve put together throughout the school year. This session specifically will leverage the knowledge and professionalism of the Slatington teachers to best serve all students. We will evaluate sources of data and create strategies for targeted small-group instruction. Teachers will be provided ample work time to evaluate the shared ideas and incorporate them into practice.

The linked folder here provides you access to actual TDA responses written by my students. I did not make any modifications to the writing. Some of my class responses were missing, but this is still a good sample.
Analyze the texts and work with your team to formulate a plan to create small group targetted lessons.
The linked folder here provides you access to actual checklists I used with my students for our ELA block. These lists were intended to last 1-2 weeks of instruction.
The students worked on the list when they were not meeting with me in small groups, participating in a whole group lesson, or working on an extension of a lesson, not on the list.
