I have been managing, writing for, and growing my personal Medium blog with a dog niche since 2021! 

A few of my stories have received #1 SEO ranks on Google Search, including my story "The Doodle Epidemic: Why people have beef with Doodles," which has over 25,000 reads and counting. 

Winter completed her AKC Advanced Trick Dog title in September 2024. The tricks she performed were: 

• Go hide 

• Head down

• Identify a toy by name out of three 

• Turning on a battery operated light 

• Fetching and bringing money

• Pick pocket as handler moves

• Pulling a bag with objects 

• Removing a handler's slipper

• Retrieving a flat item from a flat surface

• Grabbing a tissue out of box

Winter completed her AKC Intermediate Trick Dog title in August 2024. The tricks she performed were: 

• Carry

• Distance place 

• Catching treats

• Balancing a treat on nose 

• Lap

• Between

• Opening a door

• Closing a door

• Opening a drawer 

• Closing a drawer

Winter was entered in the Westminster Kennel Club's 2024 "Westminster Best at Home" contest in May 2024. She was selected as a finalist out of thousands of entrants by WKC representatives. After campaigning for three days, Winter won the fan favorite vote and was crowned the "2024 Westminster Best at Home."

Winter completed her AKC Trick Dog Novice title in May 2024. The tricks she performed were:

• 5 tricks counted for completed CGC 

• Hup- Jumping on surfaces with all four legs

• High five 

• Kiss

• Shake 

• Touch

After years of training, Winter completed the AKC Canine Good Citizen assesment and earned her AKC CGC title in March 2024. These tasks include:

• Accepting a friendly stranger 

• Sitting politely for petting 

• Appearance and grooming 

• Walking with a loose leash

• Walking through a crowd

• Staying in a sit and down on command 

• Coming when called

• Reaction to other dogs

• Reaction to distraction

• Good behavior during seperation from handler
