I was born with a deep love of animals and the gift of gab. Today, I've built a career by combining both and using the power of storytelling to make a meaningful difference for animals and the people who love them.
As an award-winning writer, content marketing professional, and media personality, I specialize in turning stories into connection. With a background in communications, public relations, and journalism, I help animal brands and causes engage audiences, build trust, and inspire action through authentic content.
What sets me apart is my unique combination of communications expertise and vast experience working hands-on in the animal industry. I started working with animals professionally nearly ten years ago and have since worked with assistance dogs, animal rescue, animal product retail, veterinary care, pet daycare and boarding, and more. A few of the noteworthy brands and organizations I've worked with include, KONG Company, Freedom Service Dogs, Assistance Dogs International, Bernie's Best, the American Animal Hospital Association, and Humane Colorado.
While marketing and communications are my bread and butter, I am also a positive reinforcement dog trainer and professional dog handler. I started my dog training journey at just 16-years-old as a trainer's assistant. And in 2020, I started a new chapter as a volunteer puppy raiser for a local service dog organization, where I learned everything there is to know about positive reinforcement training methods, puppy socialization, and task training. Since then, I have raised three service dog candidates and served as a guardian home for two parent dogs. In 2025, I was given the honor of being the puppy raiser and professional handler of the first-ever Colorado Avalanche Team Dog, Maxy. Not only was I tasked with raising, training, and socializing Maxy, but I was also her handler at Colorado Avalanche engagements attracting nearly 18,000 fans, as well as many media appearances.
My unique background working with animals has helped me grow into the adaptable, experienced, and understanding marketing professional and dog handler I am today.
Whether I'm developing a content strategy, managing a social media page, writing inspirational copy, training a dog, or appearing in the media, my goal remains the same: to use communications as a force for good. At the heart of everything I do is a belief that stories and good communication have the power to educate, inspire, and create change. By combining my passion for animals with my expertise in marketing, I'm proud to help brands and causes make a meaningful difference for animals and the humans who love them.
