In the morning from 9:00am to 12:00pm 

In the afternoon from 2:00pm to 5:00pm

It includes all materials to embroider like Cotton fabric, threads, needles, frames and others.

In our embroidery workshop, you will learn different stitch techniques during embroidery.

If you are looking to relax or occupy your mind with something new, embroidering on a piece of fabric is the best option to choose.

This workshop is taught in the home of a local family.

You will learn to weave through one of the ancestral weaving techniques of our Mayan culture, known as the backstrap loom.

You will be learning the different tools and techniques.

At the end of the class, you will get your finished product.

PULIQUE

Is a popular traditional dish in Guatemala higlands. Pulique is a ceremonial dish among Mayan people and is enjoyed throughout the country on special occasions like cultural rituals and festival. Pulique is made from corn and annatto soup along with vegetables and chicken.

TAMALITOS DE CHIPILIN

is a Guatemalan tamale variety  made with a leafy green vegetable called Chilipin native to Guatemala and Mexico. The chipilin leaves are wrapped in a combination of corn flour, margarine, water and salt, then wrapped again in corn husks and steamed.

PEPIAN

Is a spicy stew and is a staple of Guatemala cuisine. It mixes the country's mayan and Spanish heritage. It is made with the meat of your choice, usually chicken in the classic stew.

It is usually served over rice with corn tortilla, but it can be enjoyed as a soup.
