Commissioned by Walker Books Publishing house, I've run two large events to Launch Angie Thomas' Young Adult books in the UK. These came to fruition after what was initially meant to be an outreach drive to send copies of the books to secondary schools in london. 

 The events were featured on  Buzzfeed, Guap Magazine, and the Mayor of London's Websites. 

The events, each attended by over 100 young people, centred Black & Brown readers, featuring performances by up and coming music artists Frizz Price, Sophia Thakur & the Grime Violinist. 

Wakanda Wednesdays - A Series of weekly, workshops for young people to explore the African Diaspora in a series of workshops, trips and events. Including Cooking  with Sisterwoman Vegan,  African Fashion Week London, The Lion King, Indigo Arts and African Drumming. 

Carpentry at Cally Resource Centre - Weekly woodworking class for young people. 

Taste not Waste - Surplus food drive and community cooking for Islington residents

 I was commissioned as an event planner to host Skip Garden's 10th Birthday and closing party. The event was for families and staff, so included a photo-booth room, memory wall, live bands, gardening/ craft activities. We received goodybag sponsorship from: KX Partners, Monzilla Cookies and penguin books.
