PBIS-Williams Elementary

Relationships are key!  We talk to our staff about the importance of relationships.  This is a non-negotiable. Staff greet students as they enter their classroom. We’ve designated a time each morning to designated to class meetings and team building activities.  

I believe the more engaged our students are in learning, the less behavior issues occur.  This is our main focus as we conduct walkthroughs and conduct professional development. We use Sibme (a video coaching and collaboration platform tool) to improve professional practice

We work with teachers on creating a schedule where instructional time is maximized, making every minute matter.   

Students receive Mustang Moola for making good choices.  Each teacher has a menu of items students can purchase each week with their moola.  They can also save for an item from our Office Mustang Moola Menu. We also have class Mustang Moola.

Positive Office Referrals are give to students who make good choices.  They are sent to the office and an administrator calls home to share the good news.  Our goals is for each student to receive at least 1 before the end of the school year. 

We have adult mentors from the community that mentor students on a regular basis.  Some of our most challenging students are given a mentor. 

Campus Expectations have been developed for each common area in our school, such as cafeteria, hallway, assembly, etc.
