Join the PTA and be the FIRST to know about all the PTA sponsored events and programs happening at Keith! Being a member of the PTA is the best way to stay up to date about all the fun things happening at your child(ren)’s school and about VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES!
By purchasing a Keith PTA membership, you are supporting your child's school in a few ways. Monetarily, your membership dues support many PTA sponsored events and programs throughout the year, such as:
FUN RUN, MOVIE NIGHT, KEITH TALENT SHOW, FAMILY FUN NIGHTS/DANCES, FIELD DAY, HELPING HANDS, BOOK FAIRS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND MANY, MANY MORE!
While attendance at our monthly meetings is encouraged, it is not required. Being a member gives you a vote on issues that may arise during the meetings. You need not be a member to attend meetings, but you do need to be a member to vote. We know life gets busy…joining the PTA does not mean you have to attend the meetings.
By joining the PTA, your email will be added to our PTA email database. This is the ONLY way to be included in this group. What this means is that anytime there is a Keith event that requires any sort of volunteer, you will receive an email before anyone else. In past years, many parents do not realize that most happenings at Keith are PTA sponsored, and when they don't get the email to sign up and help, they have felt excluded. Don't let this happen to you! Keep yourself in the loop! By receiving one of our emails from KeithPTAVolunteers@gmail.com, you are under no obligation to volunteer. We use Sign Up Genius for most events, and you will have an opportunity to review the sign up, see what we are in need of, and then you can make your decision from there.
Please consider a PTA membership this year, and take the opportunity to educate yourself on what is going on behind the scenes by attending a meeting. We welcome new faces and new ideas! Membership is a great way to stay in the loop at Keith and make new friends!
