Americas Recycle Day eWaste Collection

Celebrate America's recycle day by bringing in your electronic waste to school on Nov 15th, 2021. The classroom with the highest number of participants will get pyjama day.

Trash to cash initiative: We are collecting the following items at school for recycling or upcycling. Most recycling programs dont process candy wrappers and stationary waste, and bottle caps and they land up in a landfill. We can help you reduce your landfill contribution by forwarding these items to agencies that specialise in upcycling or recyling these products.

Plastic caps

“Can I recycle plastic bottle caps”? workers at the recycling center have to separate the bottle from the cap as they are made of different types of plastic, and they don’t have the time to do that. Most bottle caps, if separated from the bottle, seldom make it through the recycling process. They are lost and can even get stuck and clog up the conveyor belts at the recycling centre.
