Keep the ACPS Elementary School Community Together:

We’re a group of Alexandria parents, neighbors, and community members working to keep the ACPS Elementary School community united.

ACPS is proposing middle school redistricting plans that would separate students — splitting up classmates and friendships just as they prepare to transition to middle school. The plans rely on a future school conversion that hasn’t been funded or finalized, and they would send students to already overcrowded schools.

Our kids deserve stability. Our neighborhoods deserve thoughtful planning.

We believe redistricting should be student-centered, transparent, and grounded in reality — not speculation.
