Reset Students Password (FOR TEACHERS)

Here is a Video and PDF File on how YOU CAN reset a student password AS A TEACHER.

Passwords will reset to Capital first initial of their first name, lower case first initial of their last name, and ID number.

For example:

User Name (Pretend): jordanakaiser001

Password: Jk1234567

Our technology department developed a portal where parents are able to reset your child's password.

Requirements/Steps for successful password reset for PARENTS are:

Go to https://www.cusd.com/TechnologyHelpforStudents.aspx and follow the corresponding instructions.

Enter the student ID

Enter the last four of their cell number

An email will be sent to the email on file that is tied to that cell number, which should take care of issues with multiple parents, as only one email should be associated to each cell number.

If their email is not on file in Q, just like their cell number, it can be updated and we will update the wording on the web page to reflect this change (Kelly, sent you and Darren an email with the updated wording).

Once they receive the code, they enter it on the web page as before, then proceed to set the password for the student.

Use the linked site to reset the student's password and once completed, the student can navigate to clever.cusd.com or Google Classroom to verify the password is working. Please note, once the password reset process is started, it must be completed within 15 minutes and if that cannot be done, the process cannot be started again until the previous session expires.
