Setup

  1. Field dimensions vary by age group, divided in two halves by a midfield line.
    1. Adults – 24 yards (length) by 20 yards (width)
    2. U18 (16 and 17 years old) – 24 yards (length) by 20 yards (width)
    3. U16 (13, 14 and 15 years old) – 22 yards (length) by 20 yards (width)
    4. U13 (11 and 12 years old) – 20 yards (length) by 20 yards (width)
  2. Each end of the field will have a 6-yard box.
  3. Full size goals (age appropriate) at the end of each field.
  4. Each keeper will have a total of 10 soccer balls either to the left, right or both sides of the goal. The soccer balls must be placed outside of the playing field.
  5. Use age appropriate soccer ball sizes.
  6. All participants must wear shin guards, cleats, and goalkeeping gloves.

Rules

  1. Game will begin with a coin flip (or similar alternative) deciding which Keeper starts with the ball.
  2. Keeper has 6 seconds within their 6-yard box to “attack” the opposing goal. The timing starts as soon as they have control of the ball with their feet or hands. If they do not attack the opposing goal in this time, the referee will cancel the play and possession of the ball will be given to the opposing keeper.
  3. Keeper may use their hands and feet to score; punts, throws, rolls, dropkicks, and shots are all allowed.
  4. If GK1 (Goalkeeper 1) scores -> GK2 (Goalkeeper 2) will grab 1 of their 10 balls from the side of the goal and attack GK1. Attacks can only be made inside the 6-yard box.
  5. If GK1 makes a save and the ball goes out of bounds -> GK1 will grab 1 of their 10 balls from the side of the goal and attack GK2. Attacks can only be made inside the 6-yard box.
  6. If GK1 makes a save by trapping the ball -> using the same trapped ball, GK1 will then have 6 seconds to attack GK2. Attacks can only be made inside the 6-yard box.
  7. If GK1 makes the save or ball deflects off the framework but the ball stays within GK1 half -> GK1 can pick up the ball with their hands or feet and return to their 6-yard box. GK1 may prevent the ball from crossing the midfield line at this point by trapping the ball. Attacks can only be made inside the 6-yard box with the same trapped ball.
  8. If GK1 makes the save or ball deflects off the framework, and the ball crosses the midfield line into GK2 half - > GK2 may choose between using only their feet to shoot from anywhere within their half taking 6 seconds to finish the play, or take the ball and return to the 6-yard box to execute another attack.
  9. Neither goalkeeper may cross the midfield line during the game. An offending goalkeeper will be issued a warning on the first two offenses, and a forfeit on the third offense during the same game. Any goals scored during this instance will be disallowed.
  10. The game will follow FIFA rules outside of the specified rules above.
  11. The game will end once both Keepers have used all of their 10 soccer balls or at the end of 15 minutes, whichever comes first.
  12. In the event of a tie

      2. A tie receives 1 point
      3. A loss receives 0 points
