Background: I needed a business card that showcased my skills that I could give to people in passing

Design:

• Contrast: I have used contrast by creating the orange box, this highlights my name and what I do immediately.

• Repetition: I have used repetition by making the font the same in any descriptors, such as Videographer describing what I do or phone, with my phone number next to it

• Alignment: I aligned the boxes exactly on the center, this way I could have equal space for my name and for my information

• Proximity: I have used proximity by putting what I do close to my name so people will associate that with me

• Font Choice: I choose a simple san font for my name and information to make it easy to read but choose a script font for everything else to add a little creativity

• Color Choice: I chose these colors because I felt like they were simple yet elegant. I felt they could be used to make something simple yet I could easily highlight anything I needed to in orange

Photoshop Skills Used:

• Guides: Used guides to create a pleasant balanced look to the image

• Text: Used different fonts to add variety to the card

• Camera raw: Used to edit the picture and bring out the colors to make it pop
