Keeg is sentient but he cannot communicate very well. He is, however, better at communication than his father (the Negative Spirit), due to having spent his whole life in a human body instead of who knows how many years in the nebula. He still cannot talk, although he’ll probably be better at typing (these digital native kids and their tech skills at such a young age). He does still have that more abstract idea of communication similar to his father, using its thought projection and thought manipulation abilities rather than words. His perception of words and communication is still primarily dependent on Larry, however, so concepts more familiar to him will still be what he knows best, and he will still have some of his communications issues.
Powers:
Flying, energy beams, limited immortality for him & his host. Makes his host radioactive. Telepathic projection and connection. He can connect two characters' minds together both through touch; to non-host individuals with non-host individuals or with his host; and remotely, for his host with someone the host knows well. He also can control/project dreams and memories specifically for the host. He also glows blue. Keeg can also live inside the electricity of a building, and in Larry’s orchids.
Since he will be sharing Larry’s body with his father the Negative Spirit, Larry won’t pass out when he leaves his body, unless he does it when the Negative Spirit is not there, which could happen, as the Negative Spirit will likely leave Larry’s body for some of the time Keeg is there, since having two at once is difficult on Larry’s body. The Negative Spirit can survive outside of Larry’s body longer than Larry can survive without a negative spirit. Keeg is even better at being outside of a host body than his father is, especially if he is in the electricity or in Larry’s orchids, which is something he can survive in if he needs to. Keeg will also be spending some of his time in Rama’s body, but Rama does not get the abilities negative spirits grant their hosts or the side effects, as they are not fully bonded.
Powers he grants to his host:
Keeg is in a symbiotic relationship with his host, Larry Trainor. Due to this bond, he suspends his host’s aging process, giving him limited immortality (longevity). Another benefit of his limited immortality is that he no longer needs to eat or drink, and he is more resilient than an ordinary human. He can withstand great temperatures both hot and cold. He is also radioactive, and he has bandages all over his body that block the radiation. If he takes his bandages off at all and someone else is in the room (which he would never knowingly, willingly do), they will likely die painfully from radiation poisoning within minutes unless they are somehow immune to radiation.
