Welcome to the KDP Review Platform! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started, earn reviews for your books, and contribute reviews to earn credits.
Getting Started
Signing Up
1. Navigate to the KDP Review Platform website.
2. Click the "Register" tab on the login page.
3. Fill in the required fields:
Full Name: Your name (or pen name).
Email: A valid email address you have access to.
Password: Create a strong password.
4. Important: Check the box confirming you can submit verified purchase reviews on Amazon.
5. (Optional) If you were referred by another user, enter their Referral Code.
6. Click the "Register" button.
7. Check your email inbox (and spam/junk folder) for a verification email from the platform.
8. Click the verification link in the email to activate your account.
9. You will be redirected to a confirmation page. You can now log in.
Logging In
1. Go to the KDP Review Platform website.
2. Ensure you are on the "Login" tab.
3. Enter your registered email address and password.
4. Click the "Login" button.
5. You will be taken to your User Dashboard.
Dashboard Overview
Upon logging in, you'll land on your main dashboard. This is your central hub for all activities.
Welcome Message: Greets you by name.
Stats Badges: Credits: Shows your current credit balance. Credits are used to submit your books for review.
Referral Code: Displays your unique referral code. Share this to earn bonus credits.
Navigation Tabs: Use these tabs to access different sections:
My Books: View the books you have submitted.
Available Books: Browse and claim books submitted by other authors to review.
Submit Book: Add your own book to the platform to receive reviews.
Buy Credits: Purchase additional credits (if this feature is enabled).
Earning Credits
Earning Credits by Reviewing
One of the core principles of the platform is earning credits by helping others. You earn credits by reviewing books submitted by fellow authors.
Finding Books to Review
1. From your dashboard, click the "Available Books" tab.
2. You will see a table listing books submitted by other users.
3. Review the book titles, authors, and ASINs to find ones you are interested in or eligible to review (you must be able to purchase and review them on Amazon).
Submitting Your Review
1. Purchase the claimed book on Amazon (if you haven't already).
2. Read the book and leave a genuine, verified purchase review on Amazon.
3. Take a screenshot of your review confirmation or the review itself on Amazon. Save this image to a publicly accessible location (like Imgur, Google Drive with link sharing on, etc.) and get a shareable URL for the image.
4. Return to the KDP Review Platform dashboard.
5. The claimed book should appear in your "My Books" tab under a section for books you are reviewing (though the current UI might just show it as claimed until submitted).

6. Find the book you reviewed.

Screenshot Link: Paste the URL to the screenshot of your review.
10. Click the "Submit Review" button in the form/modal.
11. Wait for admin approval. Once approved, the credits associated with reviewing that book will be added to your account balance.

Submitting Your Book for Reviews
Once you have earned enough credits (or purchased them), you can submit your own book to receive reviews from other platform users.
Preparing Your Book
Ensure your book is published on Amazon KDP and is live for sale. You will need the following information:
Book Title
Author Name
ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number): Found on your book's Amazon product page URL or in your KDP dashboard.
Amazon Link: The full URL to your book's page on Amazon.
Decide if your book is enrolled in KDP Select (this might affect the approval process or visibility).
Using the Submit Book Form
1. From your dashboard, click the "Submit Book" tab.
2. Fill in the form fields with your book's details:

3. Check the "KDP Select" box if applicable.

5. Click the "Submit Book" button.
6. The required number of credits (as defined by the platform rules, e.g., 1 credit) will be deducted from your balance.
7. Your book submission is now pending admin approval. You can check its status in the "My Books" tab. It will likely show as "Pending".
8. Once approved by an admin, your book will be listed in the "Available Books" section for other users to claim and review.

Managing Your Account
Checking Your Credit Balance
Your current credit balance is prominently displayed in the stats badge at the top of your dashboard ("Credits: X"). It's also shown on the "Buy Credits" tab.
Using the Referral Program
Earn bonus credits by inviting fellow KDP authors to join the platform!
1. Find your unique Referral Code in the stats badge on your dashboard.
2. Share this code with other authors (via email, social media, word-of-mouth, etc.). Make sure to tell them it's for the KDP Review Platform.
3. When someone uses your referral code during their registration, both you and the new user will receive bonus credits (e.g., you get 5 credits, they get 3 credits). The exact bonus amounts may vary.
4. You can usually copy your referral code to your clipboard using the button next to it for easy sharing.
Buying Credits (if applicable)
If you prefer not to earn credits by reviewing or need credits quickly, you might have the option to purchase them.
1. Click the "Buy Credits" tab on your dashboard.
2. You will see available credit packages (e.g., 10 credits for $X, 50 credits for $Y).
3. Select the package you want by clicking the corresponding "Buy Now" or payment button (likely integrated with PayPal or Stripe).
4. Follow the payment provider's instructions to complete your purchase.
5. After successful payment processing and confirmation by the platform, the purchased credits will be added to your account balance.
