Social media data mining is used to uncover hidden patterns and trends from social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and others. This is typically done through machine learning, mathematics, and statistical techniques. We at KDDM research group have been actively doing research in this area and have published our findings at prestigious venues.
