In the final fall tournament of 2019 the girls pulled off a 4th place finish to earn a bid to USA Elite Select Summer Nationals. The girls fought through injuries and being very short staffed because of high school ball (only 9 healthy) to play a total of 8 (90 minute) games on the weekend. We had several girls step up and play positions they hadn't played in several years. This weekend really showed us what they kiddos are made of and when it comes down to it they are willing to do whatever it takes to compete.

The girls had a great first weekend out together finishing 2nd and earning a bid to 18A USA Nationals in 2020. This group had yet to even get a practice in with all the new faces but did an outstanding job accomplishing the goal for the weekend.

The girls had a stellar weekend coming in first place at the Top Gun Discovery. Sunday included a come from behind win and two walk off home runs. We went a combined 8-0-1 on the weekend scoring 66 runs while giving up 27. It was great to finally have everyone back for the weekend after the completion of Kansas high school ball and track season.

The first tournament of the year we played in the 18U Top Gun Spring Invite. The tournament was moved from Kansas City to Topeka in order to play on the turf fields. It took Saturday for the girls to knock off the rust and get used to being outside again but then there was no looking back. We finished the weekend in 5th placing losing in extra innings to Tulsa Elite-Walde who went on to win the tournament.

We also finished 5th in the Top Gun Spring Invite again losing to eventual Champion Impact Gold Premier-Lyon. We finished the weekend 5-1 and outscored opponents 35-20.
