Zephyrs - Brumley is currently a 16U competitive fast-pitch softball team based in Blue Springs, Missouri. The team is made up of girls from Jackson, Cass, Benton, and Lafayette counties on the Missouri side and Leavenworth and Johnson county on the Kansas side. Coached by Kristen Brumley and assisted by Blake Bown, this talented group of young girls are hardworking, scholar athletes, with great attitudes that hope to make it at the high school and collegiate levels.
Coach Kristen Brumley
Coach Kristen has been coaching competitive softball for the past 9 years for the former Lightning Legacy 04 team. Prior experiences include head softball coach at Maple Woods Community College for 6 years. Coach Kristen played collegiality at North Central Missouri College and University of Central Missouri; in 2005 Kristen was inducted into the Colleges Hall of Fame at NCMC. Kristen's hobbies include (when time allows): vacationing in a warm sunny location that has a beach and water, spending time with family, friends, and being outside, watching any sport (especially baseball, basketball, football, and softball. Kristen's favorite teams include: Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and Missouri Tigers. Kristen's family includes: son Riley and daughter Bailey.
