The Zephyrs were founded in Raymore, Missouri in 1997 by organization president Rob Wade. Coach Wades flagship Zephyrs team qualified for four consecutive ASA/USA National championship tournaments and a total of six overall. In that time period the team earned two top 15 finishes and never finishing out of the top 25. That same flagship team went on to earn four ASA Hall of Fame tournament berths including finishing 2nd in 2004. From that team and core group of players the Zephyrs moved to the Gold/Premier level and have competed well ever since. Throughout his 20 years of coaching Zephyrs teams, Coach Wade has helped to develop over 50 Division 1 softball players to date and recorded over 600 victories.
The Zephyrs organization is currently made up of three top ranked Zephyrs fastpitch softball teams, 18A Zephyrs - Corona, 18A Zephyrs - Craig, and 16A Zephyrs - Brumley.
A special thank you to our local sponsors and team supporters. Without their generous financial support, entry into some of the top fast-pitch competitive tournaments would not be possible. With your donations, we are able to enter these 3 teams into some of the top fastpitch softball tournaments around the country, getting each girl closer to their goal of playing fast-pitch softball at the collegiate level.
