A: We don't have specific times/levels you have to meet, but we hold try outs for the competitive team at the start of the year. If you don't make it into our competitive teams right at the start of the year there is lots of flexibility between our squads so you still have a chance to move up throughout the year!
A: We recommend that you buy a membership after you have attended all the trials/tasters so you know for sure which one to buy!
A: For swimming trials/tasters and regular trainings, all you need is your usual swimwear (don't worry about wearing a race suit!), goggles, and a swimming cap.
For competitive/experienced water polo trials, please come in your regular training gear, and we will provide water polo hats.
At recreational water polo tasters, please wear comfortable but close-fitting swimwear. Think pool, not beach. That means no bikinis, and try to avoid two-pieces in general, as well as loose fitting trunks for men. You may wear goggles during the warmup, but not during the main session. Please bring a swimming cap if you have long hair!
A: Absolutely! We encourage everyone who is new to the society to come along to the taster. Experience level or uni year doesn't matter!
