Grand Cordon of the Order of The Imperial Chrysanthemum

Insignia : The main disc of the Grand Cordon bears the Imperial Crest and is pronged by four golden prongs and four maroon (the national color) prongs, totaling to eight. The red prongs bear four and multilayered golden prongs are connected together by floral designs sprouting at their end. The disc is then bordered by a thick dark-blue band. Next is a light blue colored disc with sharp ends, internally decorated by aquamarine and red colored thin bands. 24 stars decorate a very thin white enameled band surrounding the Imperial Crest.

Eligibility : The Grand Cordon is exclusively reserved for the Imperial Family, irrespective of their genders. It can be only granted by the Emperor to members who have a minimum age of ten years. Granted as an honor, or to members with distinguished service and outstanding achievements.
