Insignia : The Grand Cordon consists of super-intricate design. The main disc bearing the Imperial Crest is pronged by four golden prongs and four maroon (the national color) prongs, totaling to eight. The red prongs bear four small circular discs bearing the Imperial crest, through which 32 rays protrude (symbolizing the sun). The central disc is enameled in dark blue. On the central disc is a eight pronged star. The base is enameled into white. Within the eight pronged star is another eight-pronged multilayered star. Within it is an intricate border. Next is a thin enamel ring of brilliant green symbolizing rejuvenation. Within the heart of the insignia lies the Crest of the Empire of Yata.
Eligibility : The Grand Cordon is exclusively reserved for the Monarch of Yata, irrespective of whether the Monarch is a Emperor or an Empress. It can not be granted posthumously since a Monarch is generally though to receive it after their enthronement.
