AP-2D is a course for me to expand and explore who I am as an artist through various media. It's a course where I can experiment and freely create in ways that'll allow me to look deeper into myself, and in turn, look deeper into the world.

Embroidery Thread, Thread, on Fabric
People with jellyfish hands would need gloves to keep others safe from their stingers
Layer mesh on top of fabric to give the appearance that it is covering the stingers

Eight eyes require eight lenses, but four pairs would be a pain.

After the edits, added extra texture to the ceiling to look like leaves.

Clothing companies would have to learn how to accommodate those with more than 4 limbs.
Using white on black and colorful embellishments to create contrast and highlight key elements.

How much space can you leave in between shapes for the brain to fill in on it's own?
Varied shapes with muted, bold, colors as well as created surfaces makes contrast in a dark setting.
Cutting shapes out after sketching.

Tempera Paint, Black Ink Mixture
Venice Italy's canals are timey and moldy, just like the ink.
Leaving random ink blobs make the entire scene look moldy in a charming way.

I thought about branches, and how butterflies land on branches and go through their life cycles on branches.
I put ink in a corner and tilted the surface, creating random paths, then added elements in gel pen.

I thought about different ways people sit, hang, and lie down.
I combined different elements to create a surface, then digitally added people.
