I am so grateful that I had Kaylee by my side during my labor! She was a big reason why mine went so smoothly. It was such a comfort to have someone know how to help me during one of the most difficult moments in my life. She coached me on how to breathe and relax with each of my contractions, as well as the pushing stage. She also helped my husband to know how best to support me, like providing counter pressure while I was going through contractions. Kaylee was a confident advocate and problem solver for me during my labor. Without her, I would have had a much more difficult time.

Kaylee was incredible every step of the way. Before labor, she checked in regularly, made sure I had everything I needed, and helped me feel fully prepared. When the time came, she showed up quickly and immediately brought a sense of calm and reassurance to the room. During labor, she supported both me and my partner in such thoughtful ways and even captured photos of those special first moments we’ll always treasure. What meant so much was that her care didn’t end at birth — she followed up with us after, making sure we were adjusting well and felt supported as new parents. Kaylee went above and beyond in every way, and I can’t imagine our birth experience without her.

It’s hard to find the words to adequately express what a tremendous blessing it was to have Kaylee as my doula. She was such a wonderful help and a calm, steady presence in the midst of the beautiful chaos and hard work of giving birth. From helping us know when to call the midwife, to applying pressure to my back, to putting a cold cloth on my neck, to coaching my breathing, to offering me frequent sips of water, to providing words of encouragement - the list could go on and on! Once Kaylee arrived, my husband was able to just stay with me, hold my hand, and be present, rather than having to worry about being up and about to accomplish things that needed to be done because Kaylee was able to take care of them for us. If you're on the fence about having a doula, I highly, highly recommend hiring Kaylee! You won't regret it!
