The farmers market has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was seven years old, my parents founded the Nolensville Farmers Market, creating a space for local farmers and small businesses to connect with the community. That same year, I launched my very first business: Kaylee’s Lemonade, selling fresh-squeezed lemonade to market visitors.
For ten years, my lemonade stand became a staple at the market, but I never stopped finding new ways to grow. In the colder months, when lemonade wasn’t in demand, I experimented with different businesses—selling handmade jewelry, fresh-baked cookies, and even farm-fresh eggs. Each venture taught me something new about business, from pricing and marketing to customer service and product development.
Now, I’ve come full circle. I’m honored to serve as the Assistant Event Coordinator for both the Nolensville and Westhaven Farmers Markets, helping organize and support the very community that shaped my entrepreneurial journey.
The farmers market isn’t just where I started—it’s where I learned the value of hard work, creativity, and community. And I’m grateful to still be part of it today!
If you’ve ever been to the Nolensville or Westhaven Farmers Market on a Monday, chances are you’ve seen me coming—tiny microphone in hand, ready to deliver the cringiest dad jokes you’ve ever heard.
Market Joke Monday started as a fun way to bring some extra joy to the market, and now it’s a fan favorite on TikTok! Whether it’s a groan-worthy pun or a joke so bad you can’t help but laugh, my goal is simple: make everyone smile (or at least laugh at me trying).
From vendors to customers, everyone knows what’s coming when I walk up with my mic—pure, unfiltered dad-joke chaos. And honestly? That’s what makes it so fun.
