Created in honour of two trans women immigrants and refugees:
Liberia Aceves Castaneda (August 1958 – August 2022), an educator and activist from Mexico,
and Ilyana Chris Cohen (November 1995 – November 2021), an activist and inspiration from Syria.

This guide, developed by trans and non-binary immigrants and refugees, offers practical strategies for service providers working with trans and non-binary migrants.

Published by Action LGBTQ+ avec les Immigrantes et les Réfugiées (AGIR), it is grounded in lived experience and community-based knowledge to better support those at the intersection of gender identity and migration.
