Attracting over 70 attendees, Majlisna was thoughtfully designed by Kawn Bader and launched for the first time by Mubaadarat during Pride Montreal. Supported by Pride Montreal, this groundbreaking event celebrated LGBTQ+ individuals from Arabic-speaking regions, offering a culturally resonant and inclusive experience.

The event featured an authentic and beautifully recreated traditional Majlis—a space symbolizing hospitality, connection, and community. Attendees enjoyed performances by talented artists, some of whom graced the stage for the very first time. Majlisna served as a platform to honor the richness of Arab heritage and uplift the diverse voices of LGBTQ+ individuals, creating a safe and welcoming environment that resonated deeply with all participants.
