In the middle of manuscripts and milestones, this is where I return to myself.
“Life & Joy” is a quiet corner of my world that reminds me of all the little things that carried me—especially when life felt heavy. A frosted cake shared with a friend. My huskies breathing softly nearby. Thread pulling through fabric, one tiny petal at a time. These aren’t distractions from the PhD; they’re the roots that hold me steady.
Here, you’ll find glimpses of what brings me peace: baking, hand embroidery, the beauty of nature, and old blog posts I wrote years ago—raw and unfiltered, but still mine. I share them because they remind me I’ve always tried to find light, even in difficult times. And maybe, if you’re in the middle of your own plot twist, they’ll remind you too.
There’s more to this life than research—and that’s what makes the journey whole.
This space unfolds in two parts: a gallery of images that capture small moments of wonder, and a collection of blog entries written by a younger version of me, still learning, still hoping.
