Victory March (2026 - ongoing), unfired clay and poetry

Victory March is a conceptual inquiry into the human cost of conflict, captured through fleeting, intimate moments. Shifting the gaze away from grand narratives of heroes or villains, the project centres on the anonymous everyday person caught in the machinery of war.

These humanoid figurines, sculpted in fragile clay, explore interior states of displacement and quiet endurance. Their diminutive scale reflects our collective vulnerability in the face of the violence of contemporary politics.

The title, Victory March, serves as an ironic counterpoint to the grim reality that in modern warfare, victory is a hollow concept.

The project is accompanied by original poetry, creating a dialogue between the tactile fragility of the clay and the weight of the written word.
