Katie Bee Honey Co. is a father-daughter operation started by Chad and Katie Mote. Katie is a middle school student. Her dad is a former high school science teacher and administrator. We are thrilled about the benefits our bees can bring to the local community, both to the environment and in educating others. 

Our apiary consists of about 10 bee yards near Athens, GA and in the north GA mountains. We continue to expand in the surrounding area. Our hives are located in Clarke, Oglethorpe, Jackson, Banks, White, and Rabun county. 

We take pride in the fact that our honey is raw, natural, never pasteurized or micro filtered. Katie Bee honey is sold in its purest form, just as our bees made it. 

We currently only sell at the Athens Farmers Market.
