Katie Bee Honey Co. is a father-daughter operation started by Chad and Katie Mote. Katie is a middle school student. Her dad is a former high school science teacher and administrator. We are thrilled about the benefits our bees can bring to the local community, both to the environment and in educating others. 

Our apiary consists of three bee yards near Athens, GA. We continue to expand in the surrounding area. Our hives are located in Jackson, Banks, and Hall county. 

 Currently, we only carry our own honey.  Honey sellers or large packers often import their honey from bee keepers far away from the local area, often outside of Georgia completely. Katie Bee wildflower honey is solely our own crop and from the Athens area.

We take pride in the fact that our honey is raw, natural, and never pasteurized or micro filtered. Katie Bee honey is sold in its purest form, just as our bees made it.
