UMich QR

Department protocols and procedures around QRs

All UMich QR exams in recent history are posted here.

Since none of the topology exams have posted solutions and many of the analysis and complex analysis ones don't either, it is helpful to look at previous students solutions that can be found at these sites.  Keep in mind that most of these were written by students and may not be the most efficient solutions possible, additionally they may contain errors.  They are meant only as a reference.

When studying for the QRs at Michigan I am finding it useful to keep track of the types of problems and solution strategies I was using in a searchable database along with the content being assessed.  You can find the spreadsheet I use here.  A lot of the value comes from making such a spreadsheet for yourself as you study.
