A Personal Learning Network (PLN) refers to a group of people you engage with to share ideas, ask questions, exchange reflections, and explore resources. A PLN is a great way for teachers, or anyone, to learn about the opinions or ideas others have about a common topic. People can use PLNs as a resource to collaborate with others who share common interests with them. PLNs are a great resource to receive advice and mentorship from some of the best teachers in the country or even in the world. Although you will most likely never meet these teachers, PLNs allow you to form relationships and learn information that will highly benefit you as a teacher.
