I have a passion for education and have discovered I love being a lifelong learner. Born and raised in Texas , I moved to Arkansas twenty- five years ago to continue my teaching career while supporting my husband's new position in the corporate arena.  

In the last two decades, I have accomplished raising two children, running two 5k's (two was enough), finding value and purpose through community involvement, completing graduate school, and being appointed to the Board of Directors for a regional non-profit agency.
