Kathy Giang Doan

I'm Giang Doan, but you can also call me by my English name, Kathy.

I'm currently a senior at Midland High school, a Design Editor and an illustrator for the Focus newspaper.

Whether it is getting to write news or in-depth features, the work allows me to expand my second language and opportunities to challenge my creativity. I love switching up pages' design, reporting about challenging topics, seeing my completed work after struggling with it multiple times, and solving questions for my teammates.

In the future, I plan to major in Journalism and minor in Film studies to become a Production Director. I want to create entertaining shows to watch every weekend.
