Kathryn Barnes

I am a post-doctoral researcher in formal semantics and experimental pragmatics working on iconicity in language, with a particular interest in ideophones. My research focuses on using experimental methodology to understand the meaning contributions of ideophones and other iconic enrichments, such as gestures, as well as semantic theory building for iconic phenomena.
