Office Hours

For current students, I offer a mixture of in-person drop-in office hours (first come, first served) and Zoom office hours by appointment. Office hours are a great way for you to introduce yourself, discuss academic accommodations or learning needs, or request feedback on an assignment. Drop-in office hours are listed on the course syllabus and Canvas homepage. To schedule a Zoom office hour appointment, please send me an email that (1) clearly indicates the class or topic the appointment is in reference to and (2) offers me a couple of dates/times that work for you. This information will help me more quickly respond to your request.

Letters of Recommendation

If you are requesting a letter of recommendation from me for a job, internship, graduate program, or other opportunity, please make every effort to do so at least two weeks before the first deadline. If I feel I can write you a strong letter, I will then ask you to fill out a brief Google form about your academic/professional aspirations so that I can tailor my letter to your application. Lastly: while I'll make every effort to complete letters in a timely manner, you are welcome and encouraged to send me a reminder if the deadline for an application is coming up.
