"If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn." - Ignacio Estrada
My educational philosophy
I believe my role as an educator is to work hard and be the best version of myself to be a role model to the students and show them how to be confident, promote kindness and speak positively. I am committed to creating a very welcoming place where the classroom environment is healthy, and students will be happy and excited to come to school every day. I hope to challenge the students every day with questions and activities that will allow them to excel in their cognitive abilities and continue to grow in all ways, shapes, and forms. Through the use of hands-on activities, the use of their 5 senses, and independent learning, I believe that this will allow the students to explore their learning goals and desires.
I also believe that it is very important for teachers to respect their personal lives when at work. Sharing pieces of your life is important but do not overshare. There should be a healthy boundary between your personal and work life. It is easy to put your job and students first but I do believe that it is important that teachers respect their own well-being.
