Independent consultant hired to create and edit content for Understood for Educators as well as present content on an as-needed basis.

Inclusion teacher for applied biology sections, collaborating with general education teachers to modify curriculum based around specially designed instruction tailored to students’ specific needs and skill gaps.
Develop, modify and maintain curriculum for the learning support science class (Science 9).
Develop and implement individualized education programs including transition plans for each special education student on caseload. Identify and implement goals tailored to a student's individual needs and abilities as well as progress monitor students.

Participant in the inaugural cohort of the national fellowship designed to support Understood for Educators.
Participant in professional development opportunities through Understood, including collaborations with experts, policy and advocacy training, and 1-on-1 instructional feedback focused on learning disabilities and transition.
Provided input on “Understood for Educators” including writing and editing content and authored a blog post on Empathy in the Classroom.
