I am currently a science special education teacher in the Colonial School District with over a decade of experience in the classroom. I hold a master’s degree in special education a second master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I was named a master teacher within the district and was awarded a fellowship through an outside organization (Understood) to continue my work in special education justice and advocacy.
My experience as a special educator has made me proficient in organization, writing, relationship building and team leadership. I am a detail-oriented person who not only understands special education, but also how to instruct and coach others on special education and science topics. I pride myself on my ability to work with a team and make thoughtful decisions.
