This is the full "process" of my text design! before the project I was making a reference sheet for a new character that I was planning on painting. She was originally supposed to be a fairy but when I started planning for the project I thought an angel would be better and prettier for this. I also wanted the challenge of drawing wings since that's something I usually don't draw but also with adding the lettering as well. However throughout the whole time of inking this I really was unsure of how to go about parts of the piece like filling the skin and the wings. The skin I decided to do very small font with the word "minimum" and "mini" both in cursive and print since I found that word the easiest to fill in the lines while still keeping the silhouette I wanted. For the shading throughout the piece I did a lot of words layered over each other in a rough hand writing since I felt it gave a better look to the piece instead of playing around with sizing and saving myself from straining my eyes further with the tiny font. Most of the words I used where ones relating to an angel or a wind element, so words like Zephyr or Mistral that both are types of wind and then words like Life, hope, love to represent the angel being. I definitely think my favorite parts of the whole piece is the halo, dress, and the hair since I feel those stand out a lot even with the main eye catcher being the wings with how big they are and the wording within it. However I'm very happy with how this piece is and definitely going to take this character of mine and paint it and sketch it out to color it in with markers!
