Hailing from the heart of southeast Minnesota, Karst Calling (Megan Kleven and Jason Edward) have been crafting their distinctive musical blend for years. Both seasoned performers with roots in the regional music scene, they've shared stages as members of Driftless Troubadours and Spartz Electric, and also as solo artists.

Megan’s soulful vocals and introspective songwriting draw comparisons to luminaries like Natalie Merchant, K.D. Lang, and Alanis Morissette, while Jason's heartfelt melodies and rhythms evoke the spirits of The BoDeans, Jackson Browne, and Tom Petty.  Their combined influences create a unique sound that is both familiar and fresh.

The pair has released solo albums (Megan's "I Am" in 2020 and Jason's "Taking Chances" in 2022) and have recently focused on developing their collaborative repertoire. Their live performances showcase musical interplay between guitar and vocal harmonies, while their songwriting partnership continues to yield captivating new material.
