Trip to Greece

It was my first trip in South Europe without family members just teachers and friends. I was a little bit in stress because I did not know the family which had to be my host. One night I spent at the hotel "Mediterranean Village". Other six days I was living at the host‘s home.

When I started life in host family I was relieved because they were so nice to me. It was great opportunity to live in Katerini. Katerini is a town in Central Macedonia, Greece, the capital of Pieria regional unit. The first evening my host family shew me traditional Greek dishes like tzatziki, souvlaki. All CLIL lessons and presentations were at a private Platon school. During the lessons we created business plans, interesting gadgets that could help us to study and we discussed about the pros and cons of virtual communication. Also, we visited Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece, mount Olympus, Dion Archaeological Park in Litochoro. This country is so rich in culture and beauty.
