In my teaching, I have four fundamental goals:
1) To provide STEM major students with the proper foundational knowledge that will enable them to achieve success in their careers or graduate and professional degrees;
2) to build critical thinking and inquiry skills for STEM and non-STEM majors students;
3) to empower students to create knowledge based on scientific evidence; and
4) to help students build critical inquiry and analysis skills.
It is my hope that by the time students leave my classroom, they are confident thinkers and capable scientists.
