GIANT LANTERN FESTIVAL
The Giant Lantern Festival is an annual Christmas festival in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines, also known as Ligligan Parul, featuring a competition of enormous, elaborate lanterns called parols that showcase the city's local craftsmanship. These giant lanterns, adorned with thousands of lights, are created by various villages (barangays) and are judged on their design, lights, and overall performance in a dazzling light show.
