Zeybek Dance Model

A 1:48 scale model of a set for a dance performance to take place in a proscenium theater. The stage is designed for Zeybek, a Turkish folk dance that has its roots in Western Anatolia. The design draws on rocky landscapes and styles of stone houses that are common in Turkey. To decorate the theater legs, I worked with rug textile patterns originating from Western Turkey.
